– New Child Policy from 1 April 2026
We’d like to inform our guests that starting 1 April 2026, Eratap Beach Resort will welcome children aged 12 years and over throughout the year.
As part of this update, we will be discontinuing our designated Family Weeks and children under the age of 12 will no longer be accommodated year-round.
This policy adjustment reflects a considered response to the evolving demographic profile of our guests, which has naturally shifted over time. It also reaffirms our ongoing commitment to providing a peaceful environment and tailored experience in which guests can fully appreciate the natural beauty and tranquillity of Eratap Beach Resort.
For any questions or further details, please don’t hesitate to contact us at res@eratap.com.

In Vanuatu childhood is still about freedom, fun and gaining knowledge of the surrounding environment. The Ni-Vanuatu are renowned for their appreciation and understanding of children, and being the “happiest place on earth” it is one of the best environments in the world for a child to be. Eratap provides Vanuatu accommodation family fun and the perfect place to explore the natural & cultural wonders of a tropical island.

Organised Resort Activities
During Family weeks the resort puts on free daily activities for the children. These activities have been developed and refined over the years to provide the children with a unique set of fun things to do in and around the resort.
Most of our activities require children to be agile enough to participate in local adventures – in and out of the water. The activities programme allows children to experience what local children do to entertain themselves. It also helps them interact with the local village and environment surrounding the resort.
Parents must accompany children who they feel are unable to participate by themselves.
